Format: 15 minute presentations with 5 minutes for questions, vendor booths, poster display, one meal and snacks provided each day of the conference

Posters and presentations will deal with any kind of geospatial projects or happenings in the state of Mississippi. Â To present at the conference, send an e-mail with your name, your title and affiliation, your project title, a short abstract, and whether you are submitting a poster or a presentation to David Holt at david.h.holt@usm.edu BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10TH so we can create the schedule.
Also available will be a no-cost National Hydrography Dataset workshop:
Thursday morning, October 16 from 9:00 to 10:30
The NHD represents the surface waters of the country and is useful for hydrography modeling, hydro-related event tracking, and in making pretty maps. It is the hydrography layer shown in
the U.S. Geological Survey U.S. Topo maps.
This workshop will cover where to access the NHD, an explanation of the data model, the NHD stewardship program, and more.
